A: The daily feeding rate of BioWorma is 6g per 100kg or 0.1 ounces per 100 lbs body weight. The daily feeding rate of Livamol with BioWorma is 100g per 100kg or 1.6 ounces per 100 lbs body weight.

As an example, an alpaca that weighs 50kg (110 lbs) would require:
  • BioWorma: 3 grams or 0.11 ounces

When group feeding alpaca, you should dose according to the heaviest animal in the group. Multiply the dose calculated for the heaviest animal by the number of alpacas in the group and feed this total quantity to the group ensuring all alpacas have equal access.

Biological control with Duddingtonia flagrans is applicable to the larvae of:
  • Sheep & Goats: Barber’s Pole Worm or Wire Worm, Black Scour Worm or Hair Worm, Brown Stomach Worm, Nodule Worm, Thin-necked Intestinal Worm and Hookworm.

A: Livamol with BioWorma is a nutritional supplement containing the natural biological control BioWorma. The active in BioWorma (Duddingtonia flagrans IAH1297) captures and consumes infective worm larvae (including chemical resistant/anthelmintic multi-resistant larvae) within the manure of grazing animals. Livamol is a highly nutritious supplement containing proteins, energy and oil. The daily feeding rate of Livamol with BioWorma is 100g per 100kg or 1.6 ounces per 100 lbs body weight.

Q. What is the difference between BioWorma and Livamol with BioWorma?

A: Both BioWorma & Livamol with BioWorma contain the active ingredient Duddingtonia flagrans IAH1297 and when fed at the recommended rate, will supply the same amount of D. flagrans IAH1297. BioWorma contains a minimum of 500,000 chlamydospores of D. flagrans IAH 1297 per gram. The daily feeding rate of BioWorma is 6g per 100kg or 0.1 ounces per 100 lbs body weight.

Livamol with BioWorma contains a minimum of 30,000 chlamydospores of D. flagrans IAH 1297 per gram mixed into a nutritious high protein feed supplement. The daily feeding rate of Livamol with BioWorma is 100g per 100kg or 1.6 ounces per 100 lbs body weight.
